Assessment of skill.
The judges’ decision in determining winning entries in all competitions shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prizes.
Prizes are allocated randomly from correct entries and prize draw entries received unless stated otherwise for the particular competition or prize draw. Prizes are expected to be as stated but if any prize is unavailable, John Bell & Croyden may provide an equivalent prize of at least equivalent value. No cash alternative will be given unless expressly stated otherwise for the particular competition or prize draw. John Bell & Croyden has no liability for the quality of prizes provided by third parties.

Notification of winners.
Winners will be notified by phone or email after the closing date of the competition or prize draw and will be informed of how and when to claim their prizes. A list of winners can be obtained from John Bell & Croyden.

Postage and packing costs.

For orders to be delivered outside the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, the system will prompt you to contact Online Customer Services who will intervene, calculate the despatch cost for the required destination and will process the order to completion.

Payment and refunds.
From Thursday 30th June 2011 John Bell & Croyden will no longer accept personal or travelers cheques as payment.
Company cheques will still be accepted for corporate customers.
This is the result of a decision by the payment council.
In providing payment card details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the card and authorise us or our payment service provider to take payment in full for the items in your order, postage and packing charges and any other charges that become due to us under these terms. Refunds, if applicable, will only be made using the payment gateway (eg WorldPay or PayPal) and/or to the card originally used for payment.

Non-availability/substitutes
We reserve the right to change the specification of items which are required to conform to any applicable standards or European Union requirements. We try to have sufficient stocks of goods to meet demand but occasionally, items may be out of stock or unavailable from our suppliers. In the event of this we will try to contact you to inform you of this and will take guidance from you as to how you would like to proceed, for example, have a refund for that item, a substitute or a similar product or to wait until the item is back in stock again. All items sold through this website are subject to availability.

Delivery
To place an order you will be asked to provide a valid email address so that we can send a confirmation email as soon as your order has been dispatched. This helps you to know when your delivery is on its way to the delivery address specified. You will only pay one delivery charge per order regardless of how many items you order (please see “Postage and packing costs” above). We aim to despatch all orders as quickly and as efficient as possible. Items that are in stock should be received with in 3 working days for inland (please refer to Non availability/substitutes below for items out of stock). In the unlikely event of non-delivery after 14 days, you must notify us and we will investigate the non-delivery provided you cooperate with the investigation.

Notification of errors.
You should check the content of each delivery promptly upon receipt. If you believe that items have been sent to you in error, you should contact us immediately.

RETURNS POLICY

CANCELLATION RIGHTS

Consumers have the right to cancel orders for goods that have been placed using this website for up to 7 working days after the date on which the item(s) are delivered. This right does not apply to medication or any appliance that is made from materials that may be distorted if worn.

HOW TO RETURN ITEMS

To return a damaged or faulty item you should contact our Online Customer Services Department. Then follow the instructions on the Returns Note included in the delivery. Please note, we provide prepaid returns labels for use in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Isle of Man only (in all other cases, you are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items to us). If you do not use our prepaid label we will not refund any costs you incur in returning the relevant item(s). Please contact our Online Customer Services Department if you wish to return an item from outside the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

LIABILITY

Our maximum liability for our failure to fulfil an order that we are legally bound to fulfil will be limited to the price paid by you for that order.
